WE ARE COMMITTED
Howdy, how are you doing? We hope the worlds treating you alright. If you are here we presume it is to do business, so lets cut the chase. Keep one thing in mind as you proceed, we are not trying to get rich off of one site. We are going to keep the cost as low as we can and the service as high as we can!
Why should you put your Web Page in My Gun Room? That is hard to answer. We could go on about what frills we will have. We could tell you how your business will grow. We could tell you lots of things. But we can't promise that you will have thousands of customers, and neither can anyone else.
We won't make you any promises but one: "We promise to do our best to make this the largest and most visited Outdoor oriented Web Site on the Internet!" It is as simple as that.
Our Policies:
We do, of course, reserve the right to refuse service of any kind toward any person, club, organization or group expounding hatred toward their fellow humans in any way shape or form. This also holds for anything that can be construed as obscene or pornographic!
We want this to be a site that your entire family can use without worrying about the content. In accordance with this we will review every site posted or linked to this site. If we refuse you service you will be contacted by E-mail and told the reason for the refusal. Once the reasons for refusal are changed we will happily review your site again! Thank you for your understanding.
A FEW FREE THINGS
Yes, we mean what is says! Any non-profit club, organization, association or group, within the bounds of our written policy can link to this site for free. We will post your logo and a short, one to two paragraphs, summary of what you do. If you have a special event let us know and we will find a little more space - within reason. Items in this category will be posted in MY CLUB HOUSE.
Your hunting and fishing stories along with a picture can be posted in MY LIBRARY. After submittal the article and picture will be reviewed for content and errors. If any changes are to be made your submittal will be returned with the suggested changes. Once that is returned, with the corrections, it will be posted. It will remain posted for as long as space permits.
THE TROPHY ROOM is where your picture of your trophy animal or fish can be posted. What makes a trophy? We will let you decide. If we don't post it it will be because of space limitations not trophy quality. The same goes for your shooting prowess. If you just shot a dime size group at 100 yards we want to see it. Again, you make the distinction of what is a great target and what is not.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Whether you are posting a Trophy Picture or a Hunting/Fishing Story you must send in a signed copy of Our Release form. The release form describes your rights and ours. We are doing this for free, if it becomes a problem we will stop it.
If you want to post a picture in THE TROPHY ROOM you can scan it and send it as E-mail or just mail it to us (with a self addressed self stamped envelope if you want it back). You also need to include the particulars about the Animal, Fish or Target.
To post a story you will need to submit a double spaced paper copy and a 3 1/2 floppy with the story either in WORD® or WORDPERFECT® format. Remember we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
"What's the catch?"
It is just the usual. If you have a web site or page we would like you to post a link back to our site. We hope the following would be okay:
www.mygunroom.com: a site built by outdoorsman, for outdoorsman. Now you can have your own gun room!

RESTRICTIONS: (These apply to NON-domain accounts only)
- We retain the right to place all ads. If we place an ad on your site your site will then be free for the duration of the ad.
- No business links other then sites on www.mygunroom.com. If requested we can include a link to the other sites on www.mygunroom.com on your site. If you have any links you wish placed on any of these sites and they fall into the correct catogory please let us know.
DOMAIN Plan:
- Your site address: http://www.yourname.com, org or net
- $35.00 a month
- $225.00 setup fee. This fee can be negotiated if you bring your own.
Internic will bill you $70.00 separately for domain name registration. This covers a period of two years with subsequent years costing $50.00. We can setup the Internic account, if you so choose.
- 5 meg of space
- Unlimited POP email accounts
- This can be set up so that you build and manage your own site or we can do it for you.
- One free hour of site management a month.
- As your space grows you can purchase more memory at $1.00 per meg per month. This is at our cost.
- You must sign a one year contract.
- Submittal to the top 13 seach engines

WEB LINKS
So you already have a Web Site and are happy with the service and price. But you would still like to be linked to this Site. We have three programs and one should fit you. Before you go further we need to explain our link policy.
While the Personal & Club Links are more or less free we are charging for a business link. We view our site as a mall. The shop keepers set up here are paying to be here. If we let a vendor come in and set up shop in front of them, for free, they are going to be . . . well we're sure you would feel the same way. We would like to have your link, we hope you can understand our reasoning.
LINK PROGRAMS
- Program I, Non-Profit: This is for non-profit organizations as explained in A FEW FREE THINGS. We request that you send your organizations Logo, title of link, URL and a one to two paragraph description of what your organization is about. You should also include an E-mail link. We do request that you put a link back to us but it is not mandatory. We understand that some Club rules disallow this.
- Program II, Personal Pages: This is for non-business personal pages. If you are selling things from your Web Site this is NOT the program for you. We think personal pages are one of the best things about the Web. Some of my favorite sites are personal pages. We request that you send the title, url and a paragraph or two about your site. You should also include an E-mail link. We do request that you put a link back to us.
- Program III, Business Links: This is for business links. The link will cost your company $10.00 a month. You will be able to post your company Logo and a brief, one to two paragraph, summary of your business. You can also have your E-mail address included. We also require that you put a link back to us.
